- Recreational Programs for Adults and Children of all ages
- Test Stream and competative skaters attend 1 or 2 competitions and test days each year
- Super Skate 2008 in Winnipeg November of 2008 and this year’s Sunset Regional Competition will be held in Sioux Lookout in January 2009.
- A test day will be scheduled towards the end of our season
- Ice Show will be at the end of our season open to all skaters full and part time, tentative date April 5, 2009.
- Flexible hours and days – skate to fit your schedule
- JUNIOR CANSKATE: ½ hour once or twice weekly Mondays and Wednesdays 5:15 to 5:45 p.m.
- CANSKATE: 1 hour once or twice weekly Mondays and Wednesdays 4:50 to 5:50 p.m.
- STARSKATE/SENIOR SKATE: 1, 2, 3 or 4 hours weekly Mondays and Wednesdays 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. and Tuesdays 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
- CANPOWERSKATE: 40 minutes weekly Tuesdays 5:15 to 5:50 p.m. for 10 weeks
- Special Needs skaters welcome in all groups
- Family Fun Skates on Halloween, Christmas and Valentine’s Day
- Pot Luck Supper at Christmas and Ice Show Dress Rehearsal
- Fundraising is always necessary but not mandatory
- Community Involvement: Participation in the Terry Fox Run - Sunday, September 14, 2008 . Walk, run or bike and tell them you’re with the Keewatin Figure Skating Club. Each skater, sibling, parent please bring a donation or your choice on behalf of the club and its skaters. (A loonie or twoonie would be great)
It’s the members of the community that support our club and its skaters all year by buying whatever we are selling and supporting our Ice Show, this is a great way of giving back to the community.
